We carefully select active ingredients from the tradition of Japanese herbal medicine. All products in the warew line contain water distilled from the fruits and buds of the Ume (Japanese plum tree) extracted in-house at the warew laboratories, and thermal water from the Beppu springs, in southern Japan. Overall, each product contains more than 95% naturally sourced ingredients and 90% ingredients of certified Japanese origin.
In order to build a reliable and transparent supply chain, we only use raw materials that are subject to strict quality and traceability controls. Selected beauty ingredients are processed and blended together with innovative proprietary micronising technology to be absorbed deep into the skin, restoring moisture, health and beauty.
Notes on ingredients
Naturally sourced ingredients include all plant ingredients produced spontaneously by Nature or through cultivation and the substances extracted from them.
Japanese ingredients refer to all ingredients derived from natural Japanese sources or ingredients whose final processing took place in Japan.

All warew formulations contain the Cell Viable Complex, a brand-exclusive formulation combining the extracts of four traditional Japanese medicinal plants, Ume (Prunus Mume), Sakura (Prunus Serrulata), Honoki (Magnolia Obovata) and Red Pine (Pinus Densiflora).
Formulated and tested in the brand's laboratories, it has proven to have a stimulating effect on the self-regenerating power of skin cells and to strengthen the skin barrier.

The scent of the warew products comes from a blend of natural essential oils. 10 different essential oils, including sandalwood and frankincense, are expertly blended to suit each product and to reflect warew's identity.
